FAQ

Lonxt Omega 3 FAQ

  • HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO RECEIVE MY ORDER?

With the exception of holidays, all orders received will be processed and shipped within 48 hours and delivered within 3-5 business days. At this time due to COVID-19, however, there are 3rd party postal carrier delays. Please allow additional time for delivery.

  • HOW DO I TAKE LONXT OMEGA 3?

We suggest 2 gel capsules daily, preferably with a meal, for the first 8 weeks. All 2 may be taken at once, or one in the morning and one at night — whatever works best for you. You may begin to feel improvement after 2 weeks but expect the best results after 8 weeks of daily use.

  • WHAT ARE THE INGREDIENTS IN LONXT OMEGA 3?

Fish Oil, Gelatin Food Grade, Humectants [420(I), 422], Preservative [218, 219]. Our Omega 3 Fish Oil is naturally sourced from the rich waters of the Peruvian Coast.

The oils are then distilled for increased purity to deliver the highest levels of contaminant free Omega 3 fatty acids – EPA & DHA, by removing metals, PCBs and other toxins.

  • CAN I TAKE LONXT OMEGA 3 IF I’M ALLERGIC TO FISH?

Lonxt Omega 3 contains fish oil. Our extraction process removes the allergenic proteins. Fish oil supplements are generally well tolerated by most people. But if you have an allergy, it is best to introduce any new supplement into your diet under the supervision of a healthcare provider.

  • WHAT IS OMEGA 3?

Omega-3 fatty acids are a family of polyunsaturated fats. A diet rich in omega-3 fatty acids is linked to a reduced risk of inflammatory diseases and depression. Omega-3 is what’s known as an essential fatty acid — meaning the body does not make it itself. This means we must get enough omega-3 through diet or by supplementation.

  • WHAT IS FISH OIL GOOD FOR?

Omega-3 fatty acids, such as those found in fish oil, are associated with several health benefits, including reducing exercise-induced muscle soreness and stiffness, healthy eye function, improved memory and cognitive function, and improved mood. Studies have also shown that a diet rich in omega-3 is linked to a reduced risk of inflammatory diseases and depression.

They’re also an integral part of cell membranes, and provide the starting point for making hormones which regulate many of the body’s systems. According to researchers from Harvard University, “Omega-3 fats have been shown to help prevent heart disease and stroke, may help control lupus, eczema, and rheumatoid arthritis, and may play protective roles in cancer and other conditions.”

In addition, there is plenty of research showing the link between increased omega-3 intake and a reduced risk of cardiovascular disease, including strokes, heart attacks, and healthy cholesterol levels.

  • WHAT IS EPA/DHA?

EPA (Eicosapentaenoic Acid) and DHA (Docosahexaenoic Acid) are the two most common types of omega-3 fatty acids found in fish and fish oil. Since omega-3 fatty acids were ‘discovered’ in the 1970s, most omega-3 research has focused on these two molecules.

  • HOW SHOULD I STORE MY LONXT OMEGA 3?

Store your product in a cool and dark place to obtain a longer shelf-life.

  • SHOULD I TAKE FISH OIL DURING PREGNANCY?

Fish oil contains important omega-3 fatty acids that are crucial for a healthy pregnancy and the development of a child. Studies have found that getting enough omega-3 fatty acids can help bring a pregnancy to term and reduce the risk of postpartum depression. Omega-3 fatty acids are also beneficial for the neuro-visual development of your baby and may protect against allergies, asthma and diabetes.

There are no known risks associated with consuming fresh, purified fish oil during pregnancy, although it is important to make sure you are getting a high quality omega-3 supplement.
